In an unbelievably tight, sprint finish, with only 35 votes in it, we are pleased to announce that Dirty Modern Hero will be playing in front of 6,000 music hungry downhill fiends at the Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William next weekend.

It’s been an amazing response, with a majestic total of 11,280 votes cast.

The final results are:

8th. The Fire and I – 243 votes

7th. The 10:04s – 356 votes

6th. The Ordinary Allstars – 466 votes

5th. Epic26 – 738 votes

4th. Six 10 Repeater – 1126 votes

3rd. Jakil – 2608 votes

2nd. Culann – 2854 votes

1st. Dirty Modern Hero – 2889 votes

A massive thanks to everyone who voted, and for (most of) your comments along the way. We know there were a few bumps down the track with the voting system, but this was the same for all bands, and we got it sorted pretty fast we hope.

And a huge thanks to all bands who entered. As Audrey said, it would’ve been great to get the top three bands playing, or even more, but sadly this year there just ain’t time.
