MBWC VIDEO ENTRY – RIOT:NOISE – Dead Behind The Eyes

Bristol rock fiends Riot:Noise released their ‘Fight The People’ EP on Nov 16 2009 via Smackjaw Records.
The EP features lead off single, ‘Never Wrong’, which is accompanied by a riotous video starring former Playboy model and glamour sensation (not to mention the face of Tv X) Sammie Pennington. (www.sammiepennington.net/ if you’re interested!)
The video for Never Wrong has received airplay around the world including Scuzz TV in the UK.
‘Never Wrong’ is a blustering and buff rock stomp. Driven along by a grinding rhythm and scalding chorus it’s all about the way two people with strong personalities always want to be right about everything. (As Marty says – ‘Autobiographical? Maybe!!’)
Never Wrong received extensive radio play from XFM, Kerrang Radio, Total Rock, Bruce Dickinson on BBC6, Planet Rock, Rock Radio Scotland and various online rock stations around the world (including Dave Navarros show!) – and continues to be added to playlists.
The band supported the release of the ‘Fight The People’ EP with a string of UK dates (including a major tour as main support to GUN) and a slot at Hard Rock Hell Festival in December 2009.
Since their inception in 2007, Riot:Noise have worked tirelessly. Playing with the likes of Duff McKagan’s Loaded, Electric Eel Shock, Motorhead, Electric Six and Young Heart Attack, they have also rocked out at Bulldog Bash and played the Birmingahm NEC as part of Music Live. (Infact at this latter event in 2008 the band performed an acoustic set for Kerrang Radio which resulted in the biggest signing session of the event other than for Dave Mustaine – resulting in them being invited to play again in 2009)!
Indeed in 2008 the quintet even headed out to the US for an extensive tour which took in California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
Already drawing praise from many of the most influential voices in rock, Riot:Noise look all set to make their presence felt.
“Packing a punchof infectious dirty rock, RIOT:NOISE have all the right moves to make them a formidable band and definitely worthy of your attention. Check ‘em out now” – Rock Sound Magazine
“Forget the minefield of pointless musical genres – Bristol’s RIOT:NOISE are here to blow your mind with old-school rock n roll and bags of attitude. RIOT:NOISE have arrived, don’t be the last to join the party!” – Rhythm Magazine
“There seems to be a real story building around RIOT:NOISE – they are ones to keep your eyes on” – Loz, Kerrang Radio

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
Heard about this band last year and they are absolutely superb, remind me quite a lot of bands such as Velvet Revolver which there are not many of anymore that I know of. Nice fresh sounding music and hope they continue to succeed.
If they’re good enough for MBUK Magazine to big em up, then they’re good enough for me! Love the track and the other vids on the youtube page.
