MTB World Cup Comp: Voting Back On!

Posted on 25. May, 2010 by C.Gull in Latest News

After digging about in the deep dark recesses of Leith Records code, we’re happy to say that the voting system now works again. Game on!

For anyone who cares, the issue seemed to be that there was an 8000 technical limit on votes, which we needed to lift. We just weren’t expecting such a massive response.

And just in case you’re still having issues, it may be that you’re trying to vote from work or uni, or anywhere that has a single IP address but lots of computers. We need to keep some restrictions in place to make sure that voting is fair, but if you’re having issues, stick them in the comments below and we’ll try and resolve them asap.

Also, any restriction to voting was the same for all bands, so no one had an unfair advantage. Still got until Friday 4pm to get stuck in. The search for the downhill rock n rollers continues…

And in case you were wondering, Back To Normal are a Finnish punk band. But being the internationally savvy music aficionados that you all are, you knew that, right?
